Self-awareness
Recognize the thoughts, expectations, and habitual responses that influence your experience.
Yoga Psychology · Cognitive-Behavioral Self-Inquiry
Twenty sessions. Five stages. A journey of self-inquiry.
The Reclaim Method™ is a structured educational journey that brings together science and spirituality.
Who this journey is designed for
Discover how habitual thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence your everyday experiences, and develop practical tools for living with greater intention.
If you're curious about why you keep having similar experiences in life, this is a place to begin exploring those patterns.
You don't need previous experience with Yoga, meditation, or CBT concepts. What matters most is a willingness to observe, question, practice, and learn.
The program is designed for nonclinical personal development. It is not intended for people seeking diagnosis or treatment of mental-health conditions.
Life continually presents us with experiences that reveal something about the way we relate to ourselves and the world.
The Reclaim Method™ is a meaningful educational experience for those who want to understand why they keep repeating the same behaviors and encountering similar experiences in life.
The journey
01
Explore what shapes your patterns.
Explore the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how familiar interpretations can become habitual.
Understanding provides a foundation for recognizing what might otherwise remain automatic.
02
Notice what is happening.
Knowing how the mind works is different from observing it in action.
Develop the ability to witness inner experiences without immediately identifying with or acting upon them.
03
Create space before responding.
Awareness becomes more useful when we can remain present with our experiences.
Learn techniques for practicing pauses, noticing bodily sensations, and responding with greater deliberation instead of automatically following every impulse.
04
Question the automatic response.
Not every thought is a fact. Not every impulse requires action.
Develop the capacity for self-inquiry, questioning whether a particular response reflects your values or simply repeats a familiar pattern.
05
Turn understanding into conscious action.
Insight only becomes meaningful when it influences our actions.
Cultivate disciplined practice, develop intentional habits, and make everyday choices that better reflect your values.
From understanding to practice
Over three months, I'll guide you through the five stages in twenty educational sessions.
Between sessions, you're encouraged to apply what you've learned through observation, reflection, and consistent personal practice.
Recognize the thoughts, expectations, and habitual responses that influence your experience.
Develop the ability to examine your choices in relation to your personal values and intentions.
Explore a deeper understanding of yourself through the philosophical and contemplative framework of Yoga.
